All Wood Smokers

All of our meats are smoked using Michigan hardwoods on a reverse flow smoker. This is the most time-consuming method in the industry, but the results speak for themself.

Leaders in Our Community

We've made it a mission to help where we can. Whether that be assisting local restaurants or paying off Student Lunch Debt. For a full list of our efforts check this out: https://bit.ly/3AB8GlJ

Minimum Pay Transparency

Our employees split all tips equally. This has led to the lowest-paid employee averaging $15.91/hr from 9/5/20 - 10/1/21. Any time you tip at Saddleback you’re increasing the pay for the dishwasher, the smoker, the server, and the cooks.

Award Winning

Named the Best BBQ in Michigan. The Best Small Business in Michigan. One of the Best Sandwiches in America.

Most knowledgeable Staff

We don’t cut corners on our products. That’s why our staff is so incredibly knowledgeable on every aspect of our food.

Small Menu Powerful Flavors

Every item on the menu must be exceptional, a bigger menu isn’t a better menu.
